About Bridge 61 Pub

Bridge 61 Pub

Featured in the Good Pub Guide!

Bridge 61 is a small traditional canal-side pub situated right at the bottom of the locks. It is a great place to relax and unwind whilst watching the boats go by. Open every day of the year and serving a variety of local Cask Marqued real ales, specialty ciders, hot drinks and snacks. Set in what is thought to be the old accommodation quarters for the workers of the Inclined Plane, it is decorated with traditional canal artifacts, has an open fire for the colder months and you will be served through a small hatch in the wall!

We welcome well behaved dogs (on leads please) and well behaved children and we also don’t mind if your boots are a bit muddy too! Dog treats are available on the bar but we also have a selection of human treats in the form of light meals, snacks and specials. For a sample of our menu, please click here

Take outs are also available should you prefer to wander around and enjoy the site and baby changing facilities are also available in the disabled toilet area. Biscuits, cakes and muffins are also on sale for those just wanting to enjoy a small treat!

We have a patio area and sunny (hopefully!) beer garden, both of which have a BBQ for private hire. BBQ hire is FREE; all that we ask is that you purchase your drinks from us. Click here for a booking form and conditions.

We are open from 9am (alcohol served from 10am) right through to late evening all year round.

The first Tuesday of every month (except January) we hold a themed SUPPER NIGHT with a fun quiz after. This is great value for money and has become very popular but places are limited so booking is essential!
