Vessel Recovery
We have been involved in marine salvage since the swinging sixties and it was this that was the initial foundation for our business. Thankfully for boat owners, recoveries are not so common nowadays but there are still times when unfortunately our services in this area are still required. Vessels need recovering for all sorts of reasons and your first point of contact should always be your insurance company. We work alongside most insurers and their appointed surveyors in order to get your vessel recovered as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Should you not have insurance or choose not to use it for any reason, please contact us directly for a quote. Please bear in mind that we will need as much information as possible, including access details and photos, so the more you can give to us the more accurate we can be with our quote. For your peace of mind, included in our costs are all of the following:-
- Pre-assessment (if necessary)
- Labour and Travelling costs
- Full Insurance
- Risk Assessment & Method Statements
- Administration Costs (which includes a full recovery report)
Our responsibility for the recovery finishes once the vessel is floating and safe, however, should you need further assistance with any repairs or haulage etc, we will do our utmost to either try and arrange these for you or provide you with contacts.
