BRIDGE 61 SUPPER NIGHTS!
FIRST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH!
On the first Tuesday of every month, Bridge 61 hosts a ‘supper night’. Each month you can get a home cooked meal from £12.00 per person – including a pint!!
And we also hold a totally free and just for fun quiz afterwards.

FOXTON LOCKS FESTIVAL!
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June 2017 Open 10.00 am to midnight on Saturday & 10.00 am to 5 pm on Sunday
Music Festival! Craft Fair! Boats! Transport! Entertainment! Dog Show! Stalls! Camping!
Festival: Open 10.00 am to midnight on Saturday & 10.00 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Festival entry £7.00 per adult per day and accompanied children are Free!
Entertainment: There are arena displays all day both days. A fun fair with something for the kids, large or small. Classic cars, military vehicles trucks and steam engines.
Craft Fair: Large craft marquee where you can browse under cover to your hearts content with a large variety of different crafts on display.
Boats: There will be a good selection of historic, private and trading boats from fudge and sweets to those selling handicrafts and ‘boaty’ bits.
Music Festival: Saturday 5pm – Midnight. Listen to new up and coming bands, tribute acts & popular local bands.
Dog Show: Once again there will be the very popular Dog Show at the Festival – but this time on both days. Entry on the day – so don’t forget to bring your dog(s).
Catering: There will be a large variety of caterers for all tastes from vegetarian option to the more unusual and exotic, as well as the usual Bridge 61, traditional Canal-side Pub at the bottom of the flight, which serves Cask Marque Real Ales, local Ciders, snacks and meals.
Camping: There will be a field for public camping for the Festival and there will be camping spaces for caravans, motor homes and tents for those who want to stay and enjoy the full weekends Festival entertainment.
Transport: Kwik Cabs is proud to offer free transport to this years Foxton Locks Festival from Market Harborough, starting at 10am then every hour thereafter until 4pm. Discounted rates for returns will also be available.

STEAK & QUIZ NIGHT(S)

As we will not be holding our supper on the first Tuesday in January, we will instead be holding two (as they are so popular!) Steak & Quiz nights the following week. ILLUMINATED NARROWBOAT FESTIVAL
THIS EVENT HAS PASSED FOR 2016, BUT KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR 2017………
Saturday 17th December 2016 !
3pm – 8pm
Come along for an afternoon of festive fun at the first ever Foxton illuminated boat fest!
Activities on the day include:
– Festive Boat Cruises
– Lantern making workshops at the Boilerhouse Museum
– Illuminated boat parade at 6pm
– Pyro show (6pm)
The festivities start at 3pm with lantern making and festive boat trips. The illuminated boat parade with pyrotechnics and fire sculpture start at 6pm followed by the lantern procession at 6.30pm.
If you fancy being part of the display, there is a £250 Midlands Chandlers voucher for the best dressed boat.

Ever child with a teddy and a full paying adult not only gets into the museum for free
but you can also take the Teddy Trail from the Boiler House to win a prize!!
It doesn’t stop there: every child with a Teddy can also have a FREE ride on the trip boat ‘Vagabond II’ (ne free child per full paying adult)

FOXTON BOAT SERVICE LTD TURNS 50 YEARS OLD!
THIS EVENT HAS PASSED – special THANK YOU to everyone who came to help us celebrate!
Come celebrate with us on Saturday 15th May 2016 at our Golden Garden Party at bridge 61!
From late afternoon we will having an extra bar area in Sunshine Corner, the BBQ will be fire up and celebrations will be in full swing.
The nearest parking is in the Canal & River Trust Pay and display car parks. Parking after 5pm is FREE, however, if you are planning to come earlier The country park car park at the top of the locks is £1.50 all day, and the bottom car park is £2 for 4 hours.
